Dr. Rashonne Saenz created Tiny Farmers Academy to offer agricultural-based experiences for kids. With a passion for agriculture and farm-life, she enjoys being an advocate for farm-based enrichments where little ones can learn, play & grow in a farm-related setting. She has over 20 years of experience in the agricultural industry, and over 15 years of experience in education, ranging from PreK-12 education, to Higher Education. Dr. Saenz has national experience showing and fitting livestock & has won numerous championship titles showing South African Boer Goats. Dr. Saenz previously worked at the University of Tennessee in the College of Animal Science, was a previous Animal Science Associate Professor at San Joaquin Delta College, and currently is publishing her first Children’s Book that focus on careers in the Trade Industry, & works at UC Davis, in the College of Letters & Science as the Coordinator of Student Success & Mentorship. As a mother of three children, she understands that all children can learn if they have unique opportunities for connection, and works to promote experiences that allow all children to thrive in an agricultural setting.
